New round of Incluusion Traineeships

Springboard for status holders

For the new round of the Incluusion Traineeships, we received no less than 80 applications. At the moment, we are busy selecting the best candidates, so we can start looking for a suitable workplace for about ten status holders within the UU.

During an Incluusion Traineeship, a status holder will work at the UU for 6-8 months to gain work experience in the Netherlands, improve their Dutch and develop themselves professionally. The traineeship is intended as a springboard to a paid position within or outside of the UU. Some of the current trainees have found jobs within the UU, but also at for instance PepsiCo or an IT company (see picture).

Previous trainees have worked in various places within the UU: from an administrative to an academic position. The workplaces are as varied as the background and experience of the status holders who applied.
