Student psychologists can help you to solve study-related problems and to address personal problems. You can schedule an appointment for an introductory meeting.
Help with inappropriate behavior
Do you or have you had to deal with inappropriate behavior, such as sexual or verbal harassment, discrimination, aggression, violence or bullying? Do you see it happening to someone else? If so, you can talk about it with:
- a fellow student, tutor, lecturer or student advisor
- our faculty contact person for inappropriate behavior, Stefan Vuurens
- the UU confidential advisor
- agencies outside the UU

After contacting
- You will receive an invitation for an appointment as soon as possible. That appointment will take place at a discrete location or online via teams, whichever you prefer. The faculty contact person offers a listening ear, thinks with you and explains possible next steps.
- Together, you determine if a follow-up meeting is needed. Your report is registered anonymously.

If you have had to deal with undesirable behavior outside UU and you encounter the person(s) involved at UU, you may also contact Stefan. In that case, we can discuss what the impact is on you and where to go for more help.
