Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning 2022: this is what the anniversary year looked like

Last year was a year of celebration for the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT): the CAT celebrated its fifth anniversary! One of the ways we celebrated this was with the well-attended symposium 'All Inclusive', which we organised in collaboration with the UU programme Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI). Teacher community TAUU also had something to celebrate, as it celebrated its 10th anniversary. And so there were more highlights last year. Read more in the CAT Annual Report 2022.

Two-day workshop on recognition and rewards for UU managers

UU is offering a two-day workshop in order to familiarise all UU managers with the recognition and reward system. This will allow us to examine exactly what you need, as a manager, in order to work with the recognition and reward system. You will develop your own plan of action. You will work from why you want to get started towards what do you want to do and eventually translate this into a personal plan: how are you going to tackle it. The two-day workshop will be held on 23/24 May and 7/8 June.

Matching projects with students with KonJoin

Would you like to easily share research or teaching projects online? Or easily link large groups of students to internships or thesis assignments? Then KonJoin might be useful for you. In the KoinJoin online application, you as a lecturer or researcher can share various projects and thus reach potential contributors for your project. You can also follow the progress of others and their projects. In addition, KonJoin offers the possibility to automatically link large groups of students to projects or supervisors in a separate matching environment. Want to know more? Register for the workshop on May 8, or read fellow lecturers’ experiences with this tool.
