Conversation leaders Hanne ten Berge (Educational Development & Training) and Tessa Evers (Office OvP) will talk to Maud Verhoef (Graduate School of Life Sciences) and Marijn Smeets (Graduate School of Teaching). Among other things, they talk about whether you have these professionals in your sights and how you can respond to their personal learning goals and work context. Can you use their experience in your teaching? |

Self-assessment at Utrecht University
|
From the Higher Education Research topic "Assessment as Educational Strategy", a study is carried out which explores to what extent self-assessment (students evaluating the quality of their own work) is already part of education at UU and how lecturers (and students) view the role of self-assessment in education. To find results, a survey was created. The anonymous survey takes approximately 10 minutes and you can enter a draw for one of three €50 bol.com vouchers. |

Game-Based learning of European Competition Law |
To enhance the learning experience of competition law students at master's level, this project applies an innovative form of learning, namely game-based learning. Through an adaptation of the well-known Monopoly game, real-world competition law enforcement scenarios are simulated. Students can then playfully enhance their understanding of the complex principles of competition law. Curious what that looks like in practice? |
