Dear Carlijn,

Thanks again for attending our Entrepreneurial Education Network (EEN) meet-up on Innovation on Campus on April 15. We know it's been a while, so let's refresh your memory! In this recap, we share some of the featured and additional (video) material.

Oh, and before you scroll down... you can already register for the next EEN meet-up on Interactive Large-scale Entrepreneurial Education, which will be held on September 22nd, 15-17h. Hope to see you then!

3x lessons from TU/e innovation Space

During the meet-up, Isabelle Reymen (scientific director of TU/e innovation Space and professor Design of Innovation Ecosystems) showed us how innovation Space came about. It is the center of expertise for Challenge-Based Learning and student entrepreneurship at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

At this learning hub for education innovation and open community, students, researchers, industry, and societal organisations can exchange knowledge and develop responsible solutions to real-world challenges.

Building a space for innovation

It took TU/e innovation Space 5 years, a few million euros and a lot of pivoting to get where they are today. And there's still more growing to do! Get inspired by their vision for 2020-2025.

Facts & Figures

Every year, TU/e innovation Space asks their community of extra-curricular project teams to fill out a questionnaire. The results (2019) provide some insight into the project funnel and the predominant themes and expertises.

GUESSS - what makes entrepreneurial students tick?

The Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS) is one of the largest entrepreneurship research projects in the world. In order to support that claim - and as our colleague Rainer Harms (University of Twente) mentioned during the meet-up - we need as many students as possible to fill out the GUESSS survey.
The main focus lies on students' entrepreneurial intentions and activities.

Please ask your students to complete the survey before June 30th, 2021. As an incentive, participating students have the chance to win vouchers for Bol.com or Amazon.

Next meet-up: September 22

Mark your calendar! On September 22, 15-17h, the next online meet-up takes places. This edition will be all about Interactive Large-scale Entrepreneurial Education.

What would you like to know - or maybe share - on this topic? Maybe you'd like to host a break-out session about your own course? Organise some intervision? Remember, we're all colleagues here - feel free use the wisdom of the attending crowd. Let us know! (entrepreneurship@uu.nl)
