Areas of expertise

Coosje studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam and then received her doctorate from Tilburg University for her methodological research into scientists' use of inferential statistics. In her thesis, she focused particularly on human fallibility, transparency, and collaboration.

In 2019, Coosje started working at UU. First, she worked for four years as project manager of the YOUth Cohort, a large-scale longitudinal study of children's brain and behavioral development. This project became a pioneer in the field of FAIR data, in part due to Coosje's role.

Since November 1, 2023, she has been contributing to the Open Science ambitions of the UB and UU from the role of Scientific Information Specialist/Policy Advisor FAIR Data, Software & Coding in the Research Data Support Team at University Library (UB).

In this video, Coosje talks about the importance of FAIR data
