International Women's Day

On the 8th of March we will celebrate International Women's Day together with students, staff and alumni of Utrecht University. This year we delve into the theme of how digital tools, such as ChatGPT and automated writing tools, contribute to either inclusion or exclusion in our daily lives, we are also proud to celebrate the impactful work of the ROSANNA Fund.

As algorithms continue to influence various aspects of our lives, there has been widespread concern about the potential biases they may introduce, especially against women and minorities. Join us as we delve into a broader conversation on International Women's Day, exploring the ways in which (digital) technologies, including Large Language Models, can either hinder or promote equality, diversity, and inclusion for women. Our focus will be on the intricate relationship between technology and language generation, with a spotlight on the role of Large Language Models in conversational and automated writing applications.
