Replacing animal testing

When we buy foods and drinks in the supermarket, we can assume that the products we buy are not harmful for our health. What is often not realised is that all products are tested on animals: from the ingredients to the packaging and machines, all is screened with use of laboratory animals. What would our supermarket and look like if we would stop animal testing today?

This challenge is for third year Bachelor’s students, Master’s students, PhD students and professionals. Together they will find solutions to the complex problem of animal testing in a multi-disciplinary context. The RAT Challenge starts on the 6th of February, 2023 with a duration of 10 weeks until April 16th, 2023. The study load consists of 7.5 ECTS. The course is in English.
