Dear John,
How are you doing? Hopefully, you experienced a good first semester. However, you may also have encountered certain challenges that at times made everything feel quite demanding, tiring or difficult. Some challenges are part of everyday life and your personal development, but there may be times when you could use some support and a helping hand. This is where we can help you. We have a diverse and freely accessible wellbeing programme and would like to highlight some initiatives in this newsletter.

Wellbeing workshops and activities
|
Now that the corona restrictions are over and busy life continues, you may sometimes feel overwhelmed. Or maybe you are still getting used to student life in general. In Block 3, you can again take part in various trainings and activities. For example, workshops on developing resilience, autonomy or energy management.
Would you rather get creative? Then the activities in cooperation with Parnassos might be something for you. Or if you would like to work on your physical well-being, you can join one of the free sports sessions at Olympos. You can also talk to a coach or fellow student, one-to-one or with a group, anonymously, online or on location. Click below to see what best suits you.

Are you facing a problem or looking for personal advice? Utrecht University has several tutors you can turn to for tailored advice. On the student website you can find the options. There may also be other tutors within your own study programme. You can find all possibilities on your study programme page. For support outside the university you can inform your tutor or other support staff.

21 February Workshop 'Energy Management' After this workshop, you will have a better understanding of your own energy patterns. You are better able to observe your physical, emotional and mental state and act accordingly.
28 February Workshop 'Working Consciously & Effectively' Is time slipping through your fingers? Are you behind schedule again? Or do you have trouble switching between all your interests and responsibilities? Then this training might be for you!
18 to 20 April This is UU-week What do board games, burlesque, illustration and strength training have in common? You can follow these activities (and more) during the This Is UU Week 2023 and get to know fellow students who share your interest(s)!
8 to 17 May Wellbeing Week During the Wellbeing Week, there are many activities related to mental, physical, spiritual, financial, sustainable, intellectual, professional and social well-being. Come and join us in one (or more) of our activities!
