Research shows that the way we carry out assessments has a lot of influence on how and what students learn, and on the extent to which students take responsibility for their learning. In this course, we will get to work with the (re)design of formative assessment in your own course, in order to support student learning as best as possible. The course has 3 meetings and starts on 24 May. If you have any questions, please contact Lindy Wijsman or Marlies van Beek (Educational Consultancy & Training)

University Lecturer Jeffrey de Gier (Veterinary Medicine) has worked at Utrecht University for more than 20 years. During his career he noticed a pattern in the questions for which veterinarians approached him. In order to provide answers to these common questions, he developed several courses, including the course Problem-oriented Management of Gynaecological Patients (Dutch).
