23 en 24 January: late enrollment |
Do you wish to change the courses you want to take in block 3? On 23 and 24 January you can register for courses with places available. Be quick, as many courses have only a few places left. Please note that for the Faculty of Sciences' courses, late enrolment for block 4 is also on 23 and 24 January. Also useful to know: course registration block 4 at (Geo)sciences is from 30 January to 24 February.

Study delay in '21-'22 due to circumstances beyond your control? |
At Utrecht University you can apply for financial compensation in case you had to deal with illness or other circumstances that caused a delay in your studies. We refer to this as graduation support. However, there are strict ciriteria that you will have to meet in order to qualify. The deadline for application is 31 January at the latest. You can read all about it via the link below. |

Interim study recommendation & BSA |
Are you a first-year student and did you receive a negative interim recommendation? Then contact your Study Advisor. If you have obtained less than 45 EC by June, you will have to quit your programme and you cannot re-enrol for 4 years.
If you terminate your enrolment before 1 February, you will not receive a negative BSA and will be able to make a fresh start next year.

How do you rate your programme? |
Don't want to receive all those emails about the NSE (the National Student Survey)? Then fill in the survey quickly. As soon as you complete the survey, the emails will stop! We would love to hear what you think of your study programme. The results help us to improve UU's education and facilities. Completing the survey will take 10-15 minutes and in exchange for your participation, you will have a chance to win prizes: including an Apple Macbook Air! The invitation arrived in your UU mailbox on 19 January. |

Have a say in our faculty's policy and organisation |
From 7 March to 6 April, you can apply as a candidate for the Faculty Council. In the Faculty Council we discuss the faculty's policy, quality and organisation and it's the board's permanent discussion partner. Are you interested in defending the interests of your fellow students? Check out the link below, create your own list or join an existing party! The elections are on 8, 9 and 10 May.

Reminder: Kickstart your career with a traineeship

On 23 January, we will organise a so-called YourPerspective meeting with presentations from organisations offering traineeships. You can ask questions, compare traineeships and talk to our alumni. Entrance is free, but please register in advance via the YourPerspective site. We will announce the location later.

Come up with a good plan for improving student welfare

Due to corona, many students have suffered from study delays, problems or (mental) complaints. Do you have a suggestion how to battle or improve this?You can apply for funding at the National Education Programme (NPO) by 31 January. The minimum application budget is €500 and there is no maximum. Take this opportunity and make a difference! |

What do Dungeons&Dragons, illustrating and weight training have in common? You can sign up for all these activities (and more) during This Is UU Week 2023. This is also a great opportunity to get to know fellow students who share your interest(s)!
