Call for proposals: USO Education Innovation 2023
 
Interfaculty projects that innovate and improve education are made possible annually by the Utrecht Education Incentive Fund (USO). This call for interfaculty USO innovation projects focuses on applications that can improve education at the UU with an innovative idea. This year, four themes have been defined in which projects up to €250,000 can be applied for. Teachers can apply as consortium members or when they have a rough idea and would like to be project leaders as consortium leader. You can apply until 23 September.

New subsidy for international knowledge sharing on Community Engaged Learning
 
Utrecht University wants to enable students to contribute to solving complex societal issues. Therefore, the university promotes Community Engaged Learning (CEL). Are you working on or developing CEL and do you want to learn from international colleagues? The UU offers a contribution for the costs of international travel and conferences related to CEL. This item (Dutch only) reflects on the challenges and innovations of hybrid and distance education between Spring 2020 and Spring 2022. The item builds on an article written by Senior Fellows at UU in the fall of 2020, which describes five lessons learned from the corona pandemic.
